This post for Moms Night Out has been sponsored by Momtrends and its advertisers. As always all opinions are my own.
We moms need a night out too. We need a night without the kids or the hubby…a night just to chat and mingle with girlfriends. As mothers, we are in a constant rush and concern about the family, the job or the house. We forget that we need to take a step back and enjoy some “ME” time once in a while.

About a month ago I received and invitation by Momtrends to attend a fabulous “Moms Night Out” event–I couldn’t believe it! A night to mingle with other bloggers, plus the chance to connect with fabulous brands? Count me in! With the beautiful view of the World Trade Center behind us, we enjoyed rooftop cocktails and throughout the night we savored delicious hors d’oeuvres .
Also, we learned as moms and housewives, what’s stressing us out right now thanks to Meredith Publications, and we had the opportunity to distress ourselves by making our own scented body lotions thanks to Glad®; decorating Clorox® wipes containers; creating cute baby gifts thanks to Philips Avent; trying organic snacks from Earth’s Best Organic®, and one of my favorites–learning how to make overnight oats with Quaker®
-Learning how to make overnight oats…
Overnight oats are quick, easy and delicious. Just combined 1/2 a cup of milk, 1/2 cup oats, top with your favorite ingredients and refrigerate overnight!
-Making scented body lotions thanks to Glad®. By the way, Glad® with Febreze neutralizes odors for up to 5 days–guaranteed.
-Decorating Clorox® containers and getting ready for the upcoming cold and flu season by stocking on Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes, which kill 99.9% of germs including viruses that cause colds and flu.
-Enjoying snacks thanks to Earth’s Best. For 30 years parents have trusted Earth’s Best to provide organic nutrition for their babies.
-For the babies! How cute are these? Philips Avent, the #1 reusable bottle brand and pacifier brand in the US, helps give babies a healthy start in life for a healthy future.
Overall “Moms Night Out” thanks to Momtrends was amazing and I can’t wait for the next event!
