This post it’s about how to get in the mood of cleaning and how to end your busy cleaning day with a colorful and easy recipe!

First step, I like to tune in to my favorite Latin music (Music gives you energy!).

Second step, don’t think about it… just do it! Start with the hardest task and then move to the easier ones.

Third step, get inspired. Me encanta (I love) when my house feels fresh. One of my favorite things to do is to place a Glade® Clean Linen® Wax Melts in a Wax Warmer y listo! (and done!) Glade® Wax Melts are little wax cubes that melt filling your home with a truly pleasant fragrance. What I love about them is that they are very easy to use! Just plug in the Wax Melt Warmer, drop one cube on the tray and you will see how it rapidly melts filling your house with delicious aromas.

So there you go, time to clean! The best thing is that each one of the wax melts provide up to 16 hours of fragrance. In other words, you will be done cleaning your house and your house will still smell like frescura y pureza.

Ugh! After all that work and cleaning I like to eat something refreshing like fruits or veggies, I would like to take this opportunity to share one of my favorite easy-to-make snacks…Pincho de frutas frescas or Fruit Kabobs made with fresh fruits and a yogurt-honey dip, bien fácil y delicioso (Easy and delicious)

To make the fruit dip all you need isyogurt-dip-Collage

Plain Yogurt (or vanilla for extra sweetness)

Cinnamon

Honey

For the Pinchos you can use your favorite fruits, but since I love tropical fruits I use Pineapple, Papaya and Mango.tropical-fruits frutas-tropicales

Recipe for about 10 kabobs:

For the Fruits Kabobs (Pinchos)

  • 1 Cup of pineapple, peeled, cored and diced in small bite-size pieces
  • 1 Cup of ripe papaya, peeled and diced in small bite-size pieces
  • 1 Large Mango, Peeled and diced in bite-size pieces
  • Wooden Skewers

For the yogurt dip:

  • 1 Cup of Plain yogurt
  • 3 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Preparation:

In a bowl mix the yogurt with the honey and cinnamon. Place in the refrigerator.

Wash, peel and dice all the fruits.

Insert the fruits one by one alternating into the wooden skewers.

Serve with the dip.
