snicker-mybagHere we go again…another school year. Back to teaching and running around.

I’m a busy mom and  my job requires a lot traveling; therefore it is a little difficult for me to stop for lunch. Being hungry can make me a little bit grumpy, besides I can’t concentrate if my tummy is rumbling 8-O,  so I always carry my snack bag (which I decorated myself 🙂 ) with water, fruits and snacks like SNICKERS® which are packed with roasted peanuts, nougat, caramel and milk chocolate. SNICKERS® handles my hunger, so I can handle the things in life that aren’t related to hunger at all, like picking up my daughter from school after a long day at work and no lunch.

snickers-barI always buy my SNICKERS® at Walmart , they are  conveniently located by the cash register where they are easy to grab for a yummy snack after a long day of running errands and some shopping.

While shopping at Walmart, I found these cute plain bags in different colors, plus I got some fabric paint, among other  stationary to decorate them. I love my new personalized snack bag. It is big enough for me to carry all the stuff that I need for a long day, like sanitizer, water, fruits and of course My SNICKERS®

Do you want to see how I made my bag?

1-Get a plain bag and some fabric paint or any other decoration that you like
2-Place the bag in a flat surface.
3-If using fabric paint, place a piece of cardboard inside the bag that way the paint won’t go through the fabric

4-Start decorating your bag
5-write your name or draw something that you like
6-Imagination is the key. It doesn’t have to be perfect

7-Once the paint is dry use your bag it to carry your snacks for the day

  1. Get a plain bag and some fabric paint or any other decoration.
  2. Place the bag in a flat surface.
  3. If using fabric paint; place a piece of cardboard inside the bag for a clean job.
  4. Decorate your bag.
  5. Write your name or draw something that you like.
  6. Use your imagination, your bag doesn’t have to be perfect.
  7. Once the paint is dry use your bag to carry all your goodies.

As I was packing my snack bag, I got an idea of making mini snack bags, as a present for my coworkers. Now they can carry their SNICKERS® chocolate bar  on the go and eat it “in case of emergency” 😉

snicker-goodiesI grabbed plain snack bags, printed some labels, (you can print those here⇒Live-love-snicker-printable ) and got some string.

snicker-craftI cut out the tags and made a little hole in each one.

snicker-snackiesFill the bags with  SNICKERS® and tie with the string. DONE! Perfect little gift for family and friends 🙂

Now my friends and I are ready for the long day ahead and no one is going to be tired, hungry or grumpy. What about you? Who are you when you’re hungry? Take the quiz and share with us!

A mis niños les encanta Snickers y a mi me gusta que cuando andamos en algún lugar y no han comido nada tengamos a la mano para levantarles el animo con este rico chocolate y algo de fruta extra <3 Excelente recomendación.
