Can you believe it has been a year since I started Johanny’s Kitchen? Neither do I. It has truly been a year full of blessings, learning experiences and determination.
April 1st 2016 marks the first year of Johanny’s Kitchen, and I couldn’t be more excited! I have learned so much. I still remember when the crazy idea of creating a food blog came to me– OMG… Me? a Blog? No way! but here I am a year later.
Being a blogger has given me the opportunity to connect with wonderful people; among those, my friend Jenny Clater (We used to blog together!) from Latinas United and Hipatia Lopez, the inventor of the “Empanada fork” a Latina entrepreneur of which I’m very proud to call my friend now.
Also, I had the opportunity to connect with different brands and attend events, as well as conferences where I learned so much, like WeAllGrow NYC and the Latina Magazine event to name a few.
And of course thanks to the media world I’ve been able to share my passion for cooking and pieces of my everyday life.
I’m eager to see what this year will bring.
