The most delicious homemade pizza that you and your family will surely enjoy.
My husband loves to have pizza dough in the freezer (this is actually his idea) for a quick weeknight meal. You can find the dough in any supermarket or better yet, your local pizzeria.
This recipe is so easy to make and I love the fact that I can add any toppings. We love the traditional pepperoni pizza with homemade marinara sauce but feel free to use the store-bought sauce if homemade is not available.
In this post I will show step by step how to make this delicious pizza.
If frozen, defrost according to package directions. Once defrost sprinkle with flour before handling.
Extend the dough with your hands and place in pizza pan that has been greased with olive oil.
Cover the whole pizza with marinara sauce. Here is the recipe for the homemade sauce.
Add your favorite toppings and place in the oven at 400° Fahrenheit for approx. 20 minutes.
Done!
Ingredients
- 1 ball of pre-made pizza dough
- 1/4 of a cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (to grease the pan)
- Toppings:
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Pepperoni
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Roll the dough out in circle; Cover with sauce.
- Add the cheese, pepperoni or you favorites ingredients.
- Place in the oven for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is nice and golden.
Hope you like this easy pizza as much as we did!
Love,
Johanny
