Mayo-ketchup sauce
Instructions
  1. Mix the Ketchup and Mayonnaise. Set aside
  2. Heat the canola oil on high heat. Peel the plantains and cut into 1 inch pieces.When the oil is hot. Add the plantains and fry until golden brown.
  3. Remove the plantains from the oil. Mash them with a tostonera or the bottom of a “pilón” (mortar) until flat. fry again until crisp. serve with the Mayo-ketchup sauce.
