The month of May is approaching, and for some reason I automatically think about Mexican food. 😉 (5 de Mayo people!).
If you saw my post about La Quinta de Reyes Restaurant (If you didn’t, click here) I showed some pictures about delicious food that we had the pleasure of tasting. One of the dishes that we tried was “Queso Fundido” which is my favorite dip in the whole wide world!!
“Queso fundido” is just that “melted cheese”. Some people use Oaxaca which is a cheese similar to mozzarella and melts beautifully, however when I tried the one a La Quinta de Reyes, it was completely different. To my surprise They don’t use Oaxaca or Mozzarella cheese.
So now I was on the mission to find out what in the world did they use to make this amazing dip.
I tried a couple of time but no luck. Until….now. Here is my recipe.
I still don’t know if this is how they make it but mine its pretty D@&* Good!
