Try this savory and a bit spicy beef stir-fry with bok choy and snow peas, perfect for easy weeknight meals.
A couple of years ago I came across a recipe for the perfect Stir-fry. Actually, the name of it is “Chili Beef Stir-Fry with scallions and snow peas” by Aida Mollenkamp…OMG! The best! It’s one of those recipe that even if you slightly change one of the ingredients still taste pretty darn good.
And that’s what I did…
Although I LOVE spicy food, I feel that her recipe is a bit spicy–It calls for two tablespoon of garlic-chili sauce–so I decided to reduce it to one tablespoon instead. Also, I added more soy sauce and more veggies!
The best gadget to make stir-fry is a wok but as you can see in this post, I use a regular frying pan; Just make sure is wide enough to fit all the yumminess.
This is my version, slightly different, but still pretty good! I just eat it like that, as the veggies are enough for me, but you can always pair it with noodles, white rice or even brown rice.
Hope you enjoy making it (and eating it!) as much as I did. Remember you can always add your favorite vegetables or even your favorite protein such as chicken, pork or even tofu!
