Citrus Marinated Pork Ribs+ Learn about the Vacuvita System

Juicy and tender pork ribs cook to perfection in half the time.

Serves: 4 people
  • ½ rack pork ribs (about 8 spare ribs)
  • the juice of 1 big lime
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  1. Make the marinate by blending all the spices and fresh herbs with the olive oil and the lime juice.
  2. In a Vacuvita vacuum bag, place the pork ribs, add the seasoning previously made and seal completely.
  3. Using the Vacuvita System, vacuum all the air (see picture below) and let the ribs marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350 F
  5. Place the ribs in a roasting pan and cook uncovered for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the ribs are very tender.
